We aim to improve quality of life through sport and physical activity, by working with partners to offer a wide range of sustainable opportunities to all. Our work enables people to develop and maintain good physical and mental wellbeing, as well as providing opportunities for social development within communities. Being active supports young people to get the best start in life and enables older adults to feel socially included and live independently for longer.

Since it’s creation the Everyday Active small grant scheme has supported more than 240 Kent based organisations to increase physical activity participation within the local community,  funding a wide range of resources such as sports equipment, team kit and marketing costs. And through the Kent Sport Small Grant Scheme for FANS Members we have helped over 300 talented young sports performers to enhance their performance and achieve fantastic results in national and international competitions by replacing vital sports equipment, assisting with travel & accommodation costs and competition entry fees.

View the case studies below to find out what impact the grant has had on the  organisations, and what the next steps are for them going forward.
