Our annual Primary PE Conference took place on Thursday 30 January 2020 at the Kent Events Centre, with over 170 delegates from primary PE leads, head teachers and governors. During the day delegates found out about the revised Ofsted framework, ways to engage the local community and the power of PE and sport. Delegates had the opportunity to attend a number of briefing sessions throughout the day giving delegates new ideas and inspirations to take back to the classroom.
Keynote speeches were delivered by Association for PE’s Steve Caldecott, Riverview Junior School’s head teacher James Kendall, and Greenfields Community Primary School’s head teacher and Sport and Wellbeing Development Officer Dan Andrews and Wendy Ball. Delegates also heard from guest speaker Ben Smith from The 401 Foundation, the only person to run 401 marathons in 401 days.
Delegates had the opportunity to attend two briefing sessions throughout the day. Presenters included:

There were several stallholders in attendance which delegates could browse throughout the day.
