What is your most memorable sporting achievement to date?
Scoring my first goal for Wales which allowed us to win the game and get us through to the next round of the Euro qualifiers.
What do you do to help you prepare for a competition?
I listen to music and try and focus on what I need to do in the games. I go over tactics in my head and understand my role for the game. I always make sure I get a good night sleep before game day as rest is a key factor to performance.
What are some of the challenges you have experienced within your chosen sport?
When I was younger I was playing for Chelsea U11s. I played with them for one season but didn’t have the chance to play in my favoured position meaning I couldn’t prove myself. I got dropped the next season and had to find a new club. I got into Millwall Lionesses and stayed with them for 6 years!
Because of this grant I was able to move to Wales to train more regularly with the National coaches whilst completing a college course in sports science. It has meant that I could move away from home to start pursuing my dream; to play football professionally, and has given me lots of opportunities in the sport such as gaining coaching qualifications.
